About Qiqihar Medical University
Founded in 1946, Qiqihar Medical University （QMU） is located in Qiqihar, HeiLongjiang Province. Currently, QMUconsists of 14 schools and 4 auxiliary departments， boasts a staff of 4,281 and the number of enrollment is 16,501. The undergraduate education program offers 27 specialties and disciplinary orientations covering five disciplines: medicine, science, engineering, law and managing. The University has 9 affiliated hospitals and 18 research institutes. 3 Journals are sponsored by the University— Journal of Qiqihar Medical University, Chinese Modern Nursing, and Nervous Diseases and Mental Hygiene, which are issued domestically and abroad. QMU lays great emphasis on exchange and cooperation, and has established friendly interscholastic relationships with many universities in America, Russia, Japan, South Africa etc., and received the exchange students from America and Russia.
